Care to spill the beans of who you were in the early days? Pirate day was too early for me, but perhaps I'm just not putting two and two together?

Pirate day was the Pedalo TT, the result of a West Beers chat between me, murts, prav, shins and a few others. We took umbrage at the Easts TT and needed an appropriate Wests TT. As we were by the river all the time, a pedalo TT was the obvious answer (after a few beers). Shins then went and actually organised it.

Side Note: The grey brklzz bike hanging from the tree belonged to Murts. He sold me that wheelset many years ago. Those hubs still are in use on one of our household bikes.

Easts TT... Back when this little beauty saw the light! :)
Never forget Object in full lycra, including hood, pedalling it all the way from Grobag Towers to the pub in his aero tuck! :)

The Easts Death TT was the name? Or TT of Death?
Easts just used to be BQ until Grobag Towers became impatient for pints before Wests on a Thursday.

I thought the Death TT was only the one at Norths. I can't remember Easts having a special name, but I only started going in early 2009, when polo had reportedly already largely killed Easts.

Easts had the original TT. It may not have been formally named though. I would was more of an informal thing IIRC, but I would have picked that up anecdotally, I most certainly was not there.

He worked over seas a lot didn't he? On tour with bands, I think? Nice guy.
Pirate day was the bestest day ever.
