I too am intrigued by the SJS canti rack... any users on here?
It just worries me that those canti-posts aren't designed to hold weight...

It's good. I don't use mine regularly for heavy loads but it's well capable of carrying things far larger than the platform. It's sturdy but not overly heavy. Combined with some old tubes and bungee straps it can easily replace whatever you'd carry in a large backpack.

Anyone tried the SJS canti-post front rack? It's only £16. Tempted to get it for a beater.
Edit: forgot to search. Post from a couple of years ago says it's alright. Still interested in anyone else's thoughts though?
