Yea Rucksacks are nice but the thing is basically you always have to strip it off and put it on the ground to get something out of it or put something in it, which gets really really annoying.
Well it of course depends on how often you change lenses etc. or how often you want to put the camera away.I change lenses quite a lot as I mostly shoot primes, also I put my camera in the bag / often, so I don't have to hold it in my hand and sometimes to "hide" it.
All this in-and-out business works really perfectly with the F series of Domke, hence the majority of photojournalists are using them.
Also they don't look like camera bags which is a good thing.

Yeah, their "heritage" line and brown / sand colored bags are like that, but there's plenty of other styles like waxed stuff, ballistic nylon and whatnot.
I use a F2 now and it's awesome for carrying a bit more to a lot of stuff, had a F-5XZ before and this was also great, super nice design / handling.
