Turns out I didn't have a CP thread for this!!!

Anyway I'll add more pics later on, but this is its current state with a DA7400 groupset albeit I'm collecting a Croce d'Aune for it.

You guys like the tape?
Or the brifters with this frameset?

I think with this frameset, the brifters (being also more recent), don't really work well.

they're a bit on the chunky side, but I still think it looks fine. I feel like the normal brake levers might be on the skinny side.

If the brifters are more comfortable and work better than something more period correct, why not use them? Personally I'm not keen on the tape, I think the build would look better with either plain black or white tape and saddle to focus the attention on the frame.

Beautiful indeed. And don't hesitate, go for CdA! I had it built with first gen Chorus and that kind of groupset looks ace on it.

I really like that bar tape and if you’re going to choose CdA, this bar tape will be great. I’m pretty sure you wrapped it only to show us what’s what, but it need redoing. ;)

I might stick with yellow? Goes well with the stickers on the Denti (there's a yellow outline on the Denti) and wheels

I think yellow would work better with a black saddle. (And I'd have a black Concor with the yellow writing.) Just me though. Lovely bike!

I think I'll keep that saddle. If some has to change, it'll be the tape. Quite like the yellow for now. But I think with the Campa (and it's white hoods) I'll fit the white/blue benotto tape.

I think this frame looks better with old style brake levers.

But yeah, yellow tape, as the brifters show, work well with a black saddle .
