Still very much enjoying my Peak Design Everyday Messenger. Though looking at the price I'm glad I won it and didn't have to pay for it. It's very nice though. Lots of solid, practical features I haven't seen elsewhere.

Thule perspectiv daypack.
I was swooning avout a peak design everyday back pack, then saw the price and actually laughed out loud. Nice, but £260 can fuck right off.
The Thule is the only alternative that ticked boxes for me (same as you but can also carry a proper sized tripod, moderate water resistant without needing crappy high visibility plastic sack over the top. It's about 20-25l in capacity and has a plastic forming pice between the back rest and the floor of the nag, keeping it's shape whilst you forage around inside.
It's also light, only 1.1/1.2kg
My last bag was a dakine photpacj, useful at thr time, but not for getting into without having to put it in thr floor. Also was around 2-2.5kg before you load it and had little shape.Thule is around £160 IN the UK but £88 on one of tge camera shop websites. Ordered one yesterday

I have a Billingham Hadley small I don't use any more.
https://www.billingham.co.uk/hadley-small.html
It's the black version.
I'd let it go for £80. It's in good knick as I haven't used it all that much.
Happy to meet up if you want to see if it'll fit your gear.

I've got one of these Golla sling bags https://shop.golla.com/epages/Golla.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Golla/Products/G1756 which I picked up in the US which should be about the right size.
Much more usable than a backpack as you can swing it round and get stuff out of it and back in without having to take it off.

Kboy, and anyone else that's used a 6d
Is your multi controller a bit shit?
Mine on this brand new one is very shit. It's so loose (in and out not in relation to the back plate that it's attached to) that it's hard press the right button (there are 8). It's also not centred in the thumb dial ring, so when you press one of the buttons it almost moves the ring!
Online many folk are among either there's is fine, or its super loose...
If nothing else, feels like the buttons on a £50 argos compact.
Can anyone recommend a good camera bag? Needs to tick the following boxes
Looks like Crumpler Proper Roady 7500 could be a good fit? Or too small?
