Same. I work for a Swedish-owned company. Also now effectively earn 20% less than my Swedish colleague.
Of course asking for a raise to adjust this is completely out of the question, despite me costing them 20% less than before.

One of our vendors has an office in the UK and one in the US. The cost to place work at the US office is over 50% higher.
