LFGSS weekly photography challenge

I did think about @mi7rennie and his river. Whoever wins can choose a topic in which he is lacking all the way up there. Like vegetables. Or sunlight.

I live next to a canal. And it appears to be constantly raining. My only excuse this week will my total inability to take nice photos :-)

I took a picture for last week's that was water related, but forgot to enter it, will try to recreate this week and submit it this time

I'm a vegetarian and Dundee is the sunniest City in Scotland...... low bar, I know.

surely @h2o you could have taken a selfie and entered it into the #water theme

I had camera fail last night leading to a no-show on teh one week I was determined to enter. That said my pictures were awful when seeing them on the camera, so unlikley to improve.
What I did learn though was that I need to learn how to use my camera better.. I was out in the rain last night fart-arsing about wasting time

Ha, No, I think to be honest it was just the USB cable, BUT it is a very old camera, which uses an old Mini USB cable AND I have just moved to Amsterdam and although my partner wouldn't agree I was ruthless in not bringing across a million cables that were no longer useful so didn't have another easily to hand. I'll get it sorted.

But, 5 entries and 4 votes? Are people losing interest?

I think a week is too fast a turnaround tbh.

I wouldn't be surprised if people are losing interest. I've massively enjoyed it but I'm happy to change the format to get more people involved again.

Maybe. A month is too long - the monthly thread hasn't taken off - so maybe a fortnight? I do think that it shouldn't end on Sunday night though as that makes it a rush for anything taken at the weekend. Perhaps it's just winter keeping people indoors (my entry this week was taken from the kitchen window). I have my doubts that making it every two weeks would make much of a difference but let's see what people think.

It worked really well for 2 years!

Did have one this week but I only came back from Germany after midnight on Sunday (thanks Ryanair). I don't mind the weekly format; nothing like a bit of pressure and I enjoy thinking about the theme and looking at the world with it in mind.
