Just a note that the ONLY faults are in the saddle (someone at work must have dropped something on it and the back has a hole, will take pic and share, but it almost comes free in the deal here) and one of the cogs in the cassette might need replacing at it skips (can't remember which one)
A part from these, it's a really lovely ride, the Columbus Cromor is great and stiff, the forks are to die for, the colour is fantastic to look at and the overall yellow accents are amazing on it.
Really selling with a heavy heart :( -

My favourite wheel set! What is the condition of the brake surface? Sorely tenpted
-
• #8
I had that checked as I was hearing rub when braking (which was strong), but LBS saw them in good nick, same as pads. Maybe wrong compound.
but brake surface is good.

Got a set of NOS tubular ones if you might be tempted. Not sure yet , though, if I'm willing to part from both sets.

Got some interest in the frameset alone.
Anyone interested in this fantastic groupset ?

I can offer you €270 for the groupset if you can include shipping to Ireland?

Yes they are.

Sorry just saw this .
But no , from £250 plus shipping to £240 with shipping is quite a change. Unless the groupset has been priced way too high, which I hope I have not.

This going on eBay today. Closing.
So, with a heavy heart and only because I'm collecting funds to fund a frame I'd like to place an order for soon, I'm selling part of my stable of bikes.
This is a 1989 Olmo Sanremo Competition in Columbus Cromor, size 54x53.
I built it up with an amazing Dura Ace 7400 (all the parts in great conditions) and GPM Tecno 416 clincher with Gatorskin tyres.
It has panto stem (120mm) on it and white San Marco saddle.
I also collected a couple of SR panto parts which I'm selling separately. Wanted to find a Competition for them, but getting rid of all.
Frame & Groupset go together, no splitting unless really forced to.
Wheelset can go alone, same as panto parts.
Prices:
Frame alone (if I ever get to it): £180
Groupset alone (if I ever get to it): £250, in this case I have a rare Dura Ace 7400 stem that can go with it for a gran total of £300: seatpost +BB, HS, brakes, brifters, crankset.
Frame + groupset + saddle: £400
Wheelset: £150 with clinchers and 8sp cassette (Shimano I think it is)
Frame + groupset + saddle + wheelset -> £530
Panto parts:
SR Chainwheel £40
SR seatpost £70
3ttt (I think) stem £55
All panto parts together: £160
All that's on sale here for: £580
