Where do you live? You could try it on if you want

So is the consensus that the classic softshell which this looks to be fits as a normal XL and not a cycling XL? If that is so, being a rotund fellow I might be back in the game at 5"9, 15st and being mostly belly

My Pro Team Winter Hat just arrived... I've got a fairly massive head to be fair but it's bloody snug, do they tend to stretch a bit? I've worn it in the office for the last hour and I can't decide if it's actually too snug but it's borderline. Gives me a sort of bionic egg/ Dr. Robotnik style look...

Try swrve softshell hat, stocked at condor. So comfy! (I have a biggish head, I think)

It’s made to be worn on the bike where it will fit.

Pro Team v Souplesse v Brevet gloves: for winter riding when you don't suffer from cold hands but need some protection? I normally wear Defeet's Dura Wool regardless of temperatures with no issues but could do with something slightly thicker for longer rides. Any opinions?

Brevet gloves are great - I can't speak to the others. I rode 20 miles tempo/threshold this morning in 'feels like' -2 degrees. Hands initially very cold, but once you get going they don't overheat. For a steadier/shorter ride, I'd have worn some thicker ones.

What’s the score then?

During my first rides with it I would feel like it's blocking the blood flow in my massive forehead vein and i'm about to die, so I've tried stretching it by putting it on a helmet and leaving overnight for a couple of nights. It helped. Other than tight fit I really like it.

Review: Thermal skinsuit handles 8 hours of drizzle, 2°C on a medium effort just fine.

What's the difference between the soft shell base layer and the pro team soft shell base layer, other than colour and £10?
-
• #30365
One is more 'pro' obviously, which translates to being even more like a foal extricating itself from an amniotic sac when trying to prise it off your sweaty body

The black classic bar tape has pink showing through the perforations right? This stuff:

It does in the pictures, why are you doubting?
-
• #30368
Looked at the pictures too long - it's clearly got pink backing but the pink through the perforations isn't super clear. I am also a bit colourblind so that may be a factor! Ta.

what is the last frontier I wonder .. rapha prescription glasses, scarf or the bar tape?
I own one of the above.

• #30370
Well looks to me like that’s the one with pink in the perforations
