• Looks like a good seller based on feedback, but just looking at one of the DJs listed, not sure that is an 18k bezel - I think that it would be fluted if it were, rather than engine turned, which as far as I know - and I don't know everything - would make it stainless.

EDIT: Not sure if you're asking about Seamaster or DJ, but DJ is waterproof. It's not going to be something to take in the sea diving, but if it gets rained on or you spill something on it, the water won't get in: https://www.rolex.com/watches/rolex-watchmaking/oyster-case.html

I wear my DJ pretty much everyday. I opted for it for its versatility. It goes well on an oyster bracelet, nato, leather, jubilee - I think it's in the middle of a dress watch and a tool watch.

EDIT 2: The plexi does like getting scratched, though. You'll want to take it off if you're going to get pissed or doing DIY and it might end up swinging about brickwork or something.

EDIT 3 (sorry): Do factor in additional costs - especially for vintage - for servicing or if it breaks down. There is no set cost/interval, but you can expect to pay several hundred pounds each 5-10 years I suppose.
