Sidney has the most exuberance and delight at everything. He finds anything as reason to wag his tail and be excited. Walk into a room and rub his tummy and his tail wags, play with Olive and his tail wags, talk to Annie and his tail wags. His excitement at nearly anything is wonderful and he delights when others are happy.
Everything is done at full tilt. Even when injured he runs at full pelt, there is no ability to moderate or temper his actions. He frequently splits his tail open just by excitedly whacking it against things - cause and effect do not occur to him, life is simply a stream of existence. I find his joy infectious and often consider him to be one of the most enlightened beings I have ever met, as he seems to only exist in “the now”.
