It goes quite well with the angle of the rack.

This is so good! Only thing that is a turnoff is the toe overlap (or even the pedal overlap!

I've got this fork
on this bike
and want to attach this rack
However the fork doesn't have the mounting hole nor much space to drill it.. any clever ideas on how I could make it work..? -

Does it have to be that rack? You could get one that mounts to the brake pegs instead

I've got the rack and the bike already - hence my desire to make it work. I can attach the struts to the brake pegs already, I've got the different fitting, or I can use clamps like in that picture.
the problem is the central bracket that attaches to the fork crown..

Are you planning of putting a lot of weight on the rack?
You could fit a brake booster and zip tie that loop to it and forget the strut for the fork crown.

Mega-bodge solutions that probably won't work:
- Get a fork bung and some canti-hanger-like part and fit them to the bottom of the steerer. Here's some inspiration for you - quite neat there actually.
- Drop some sort of rod from the steerer, stem or bars and attach it to that. Would be flimsy.
I imagine drilling the crown would result in a trip to the dentists for new teeth

Get a thin sheet of steel with a big hole in it to sit just below your crown race and make it long enough to reach the top 2 bolts of your rack.

Swap with me for my Nitto M12 that will attach to the canti studs you already

just buy an alu fork. cheap and will barely add any weight. don't risk smashing your face up.

Or be horrendously unfashionable, and fit a rear rack to the rack mounts on the frame...

What @BareNecessities said.
You should be able to attach that rack to the back and rest a saddlebag on it.
Sooooo sexy
