    Something cool about their understatedness/lack of pretensions, all while still hitting those key watch marketing points of Swiss + some history. It's also nice that they're still an indy (I think). They seem to do the basics well; auto, steel, water-proof, screw-down-crowns, not too thick, etc.

  • I really like that. Saw a number of similar vintage cases in Italy in the Mercatino dell'Usato shops, but that is almost 'it'.

    Edit: just saw the Hodinkee infomercial blog post, shame that they are not both screw-down crowns. It may be unnecessary for most use, but I prefer the security of that bit of twist.
