Removing braze-ons on an Alloy frame

Would grinding them off be a good idea / bad idea?
Has anybody ever done it?

I'd just hacksaw it. The disc on the grinder will get clogged, it's a bit overkill so more chance of making a mistake and you want to avoid introducing heat as much as possible with ali.
