The Cobblemonster 2018

Hi there

We'll be running The Cobblemonster again on Sunday April the 8th 2018. This clashes with some bike race in Northern France so we've decided to show that on the massive screen we have

We'll also no doubt aquire goods and chattels of a cycling bent, all of which will be raffled off to our loyal cobblemonsters after that bike race thing is finished.

We hope to get our collective arses in gear in the next week and get the website updated and emails out to our mailing list, but in the meantime you heard it here first.

We've delayed because we have an issue with the venue we've used for the last no. of years ie we can't use it because its shut! Currently in final stage negotiation with a new venue and aim to open entry later this week - I will be back to confirm this later this week.

The Cobblemonster will run this year, please be assured.

Pleased to say we have a new venue! The Cobblemonster will be moving from its spiritual roots in SE19 to SW9. FOr 2018 we will be hosted at Jamm on Brixton road - right opposite Brixton Cycles. We must say farewell to The Gipsy Hill Tavern, Frank the landlord and bemused sunday afternoon Gaelic football watchers and say hello to a much larger venue with space for more riders and bikes than ever before.

Entry will open midnight tonight! You heard it here first (off to update our site).
