Awful. RIP.

Yeah I was asking about the ethics of it and was ignored. They did justify it by saying that otherwise this may not have come out, despite you know, due process and a fair hearing. Instead the leak has made it look much more nefarious.

Often people on this thread complain that Sky riders have shit nicknames. Well, that's true, but I was thinking about how people always talk about certain riders like Stannard and Tony Martin having a "diesel engine". And maybe they've mentioned Geraint Thomas in these terms. Perhaps not on the same level, but for his super-dom duties...
Anyway, they could call him Thomas the Tank Engine because of that.
Makes you think.
By the way, this is just a taste of the top-level insight and commentary into the world of pro-cycling you can expect from me in 2018. Here's to a great season! Cheers, God bless.

Froome has started uploading rides to Strava with his HR on the rides. Makes for interesting reading.

Christ. 139mi at 23mph average. Average HR of 110bpm.
He must have a whale heart.

TT bike though

Comparing the pro rides on HR info and suffer score stuff just blows my mind. It's obvious how much of another level they are on, but seeing the data is quite stunning.

This is an interesting read, Campbell Flakemore's account of turning pro and deciding to quit;

"I hope the French man saw me standing up on the podium that day, a smile on my face and crepe in my guts."
That's where I'm going wrong. I've been eating the thicker American style pancakes all this time...

Sky getting pulled over by Aussie cops while in Oz for Tour Down Under and lectured on safe riding. The faces are priceless:

Sounds like he needed mental help, that just wasn’t offered by the team. A big failing.

Guilty as charged.
As the video editor notes, Chris Lawless is one of them, which is really the best thing about the video.

Nope 24th Feb - ages away.
When the guardian did the online q and a they seemed to ignore or pass over the comments about the leak. Presumably they didn't see them while sitting on their high horse.
