Thanks that seems a good idea. How about fact i'l be using a clutch Mech (SLX) would the friction in the derailleur overpower the shifter ?
Clutch only affects the cage tension, the parallelogram is separate. I believe SRAM mechs have a stronger spring than Shimano, but don't hold me to that
