I didn't get the same ones as you, found a swedish shop with a good rep and returns policy. Much more monies, but as it's a bit of a chance I thought I'd go safe
Spoke to them this morning, and the lamp itself detaches from the ring that snaps into place, so they suggested to try mounting that first on its own

Got mine delivered today, doesn't fit as they don't snap into place. Hopefully fine as they come with a 30 day return policy, but of course they're now scratched...
