That is my plan, but what is putting me off is that they are not a sold block of plastic, but are a sort of criss-cross honeycomb underneath.
So, a) I may weaken them, possible but unlikely I think and b) there may be no edge left at the edge of my cutting and sanding. I can't decide if that is a problem or not...
