I'll let you know, I've got a feeling traction will be okay, what was left of the soles was dead smooth anyway, the hot melt glue is softish so it should grip ok.
They can't be more lethal than they were, the studs were so worn I was walking on the cleats, not only slippery under foot but they wear really quickly, I was pulling out of the pedals at some very unlikely moments.
