By the way what's up with the promised relaunch of Ektachrome? Anybody seen any images shot with the new material yet?

Kodak have done a few trial runs of the process, but as far as I know they haven't sent out any review/test rolls yet. They're saying spring this year now.
That's if it appears. Kodak are in trouble again - share price dropping, and they recently layed off a bunch of people. The launch of Ektachrome is also tied up with a new Super 8 camera which is expensive, and niche at best.

I do worry about the future of colour film. Fuji are slowly scaling down film production, and Kodak are in a rocky place. Really needs a third player incase Fuji pull back completely from film and/or Kodak goes kaput (again).

DIYing some C41 on Saturday... Still seems like something people should be burned at the stake for.

It's a damn shame that it happened in the first place, though. They're really great photos otherwise.
