• Yeah, slightly embarrassing that. But you do what you gotta do to secure a win - lycra and freshly shaved legs :-)

    Wicked video PeterD, you rock.

  • I couldnt see the screenshot tommy posted so Im not too sure about the decided route, but a possible way to get from greenwich to central is via deptford->rotherhithe/bermondsey->tower bridge? jamaica road is a pretty good stretch of road as well and should be pretty empty by that time.would it be alright to join the ride?

  • This is last years thread check this one for this years http://www.londonfgss.com/thread8990-2.html

  • cheers for that mate, I really should've read the dates :) there I was getting happy there would be two social rides for me to tag along to.

  • Old time bump. I was out for a spin the other day and ended up at the ghettodrome that we raced around.

    The brightest of times.

  • And again, ended up at the Thames barrier ghettodrome.

    Great days.

  • Amazing. this was my first ride, loved it, fantastic people, superb memories. Thanks for the reminder :)

  • I believe it was also the first time you rode fixed. I turned your wheel round for you...

  • So true :) Now I'm in Paris - mostly not riding but still doing a bit. I rode London-Barcelona last year (not fixed though). Hope all's good with you :)

  • Wow, that sounds like a true epic ride. I'm good, although older and less free!

  • Yes, 10 years older, me too, doesn't time fly!

  • Nice. I enjoyed that.
(both the ride and the story).

  • Reads like a 60's science fiction short.
