As much idea as you sorry

Run it as do everything.
Done a few relatively brisk club runs on it and some not so brisk messing about up hills and on gravel.
In reality I’ve barely experienced its potential myself yet as i’ve not really had the chance/fitness to ride it properly.
The beauty of what I have experienced is that I honestly believe it can do pretty much anything you’d want a non-mtb bike to do, and even a bit of mtb.
Cross - yup
Gravel - yup
Road - yup
Adventure - yupEtc etc

I've ridden my carbon TT bike on gnarlier (not gnarly) sections than any of my MTBs (as expected of someone who doesn't go mountain biking). :)

"700c x 45mm tyre clearance with supplied fork and up to 52mm clearance on the frame."Probably a bit too upright for what I want though.

You consider custom ti like @Saffronspokes here? Price seems reasonable for frame.
Can get geometry you want and clearances etc.

"The Ibis Hakka MX is a gravel bike. It's also a cross bike and a road bike. You can outfit the bike with 27.5 mountain bike wheels, where it'll accept up to a 2.1" tyre. In 700c mode, it'll accommodate very nicely tyres from 23c to over 40c. "I can't see frameset price - anyone? Wait, £2100

No, it's the UP.
Classic U.P. vs New U.P. vs U.P.P.E.R.
The 3 members of the U.P. (Unbeaten Path) family all combine a road riding position with clearance for mountain bike tires. Get out of town on asphalt, hit the gravel roads or switch to singletrack. Your position gets you there fast; the big tires make you unstoppable. The frame is available in three versions:
- The Classic U.P. with 3T Luteus II fork and post-mount disc brakes
- The New U.P. with OPEN U-Turn fork and flat-mount disc brakes - The superlight U.P.P.E.R. with OPEN U-turn fork and flat-mount disc brakes
Every U.P. and U.P.P.E.R. shares the same shape, geometry, intended use and most importantly: tire clearance. But they differ in layup, weight, fork, disc brake mounts, thru-axles and colour.
- The Classic U.P. with 3T Luteus II fork and post-mount disc brakes

Anyway, Ult got back to me and wasn't super keen on the UP for road riding. Mentioned these...

Mathias Dalgas did the last TCR on an Endurace. Seems happy with it. But then people ride all sorts of bike for it...

That Canyon rides like a sofa. Ultan mentioned the Open not nice on the road to me as well. Canyon do a half price fatty version.

Then there's that Norco. There's a review of that in bikepacking.com, tho that doens't help much as it's written from the perspective of a mtb bikepacker. And I'd be more interested in that steel version. But is it road bike enough.
I didn't know Mike had been developing that Tripster, interesting.

u 'avin a laugh?

Yeah, I think I need more road-oriented just with fatter tyre capability.
The Kinesis 4S Disc was pretty good - it could fit 32mm (35mm if no risk of mud).Lots of the adventure bikes are too short and/or too tall.
I need Stack and Reach around 585 / 395. The 57cm 4S worked pretty well, though even that could've been longer/lower.Steel, carbon or alu. The only reason I ignore Ti is that it's more expensive for little benefit.

People with legs the size of mine don't need "pedal assist".
Any idea of tyre clearances?
