Sweet, where'd you get it?

Good idea, Alas I can't justify the bikes two have a separate BP bike, so I just convert my cannondale to BP mode - swap to loop bars and rigid forks (carbon, or fully eyeleted steel ones for when I need anything cages etc)
Looks like this may end up looking quite similar. When I get round to it I've got a matching rim in the cupboard I should build up with a dynamo...
Which light are you using again? You've got an b&m charger module no?

Light is the off-road specific Supernova
I had a B+M werk but it's given up the ghost so I've just managed to get a second hand Sinewave from a mate to try out - need to re-wire the harness when I install them on this -

Ordered a full frame bag for this one from Mack which will have space for my drinks bladder from my MTB backpack. Should make for a far better water carrying solution.
Also the bike's getting thrown together by the boys at SBC in a couple of days because I happen to be in town! Perfect

Well that was fast, I at least expected a debate about bottle cages. Fork looks nice, bike also looks nice

Much more rad than I was expecting

Smart. The length of the seat post makes the ardents look skinny in comparison...

Dont lose hope just yet.

Can confirm it's a banger. Perfect bridleway bike!

Mack Workshop came up with the goods. Full frame bag which holds a 2.5 litre bladder vertically by the seat tube. Leaves loads of room in front for all your other junk.

Seatpost is amazing

How is it sucking water up from that? Much resistance?
-
• #19
Seems fine - not quite as easy as when it's in the backpack but not having any problem so far. Yet to drink it empty though!

Just wait until you're sending a sweet backflip before you drink
I love my carbon Procal and rode it for TNR last year (after some mods, removal of dropper etc etc). I decided to jump on the chance to get the ally version of the same frame nice and cheap as I'd like to build a bike that's setup specifically for my to tour on, meaning I can leave the carbon Procaliber in "trail centre" mode.
-Got 1x11 XT to go on the carbon one, freeing up the 2x11 setup to move over onto the ally frame
-Got some cheap ally finishing kit bits
-Found an old flite saddle
-Moving the wheels (with a son dyno) from the Carbon bike onto the ally one and replacing them with some pre-build Stans ones. Chucking some 2.4 Ardents on
Should leave me with one proper MTB and one light fast bikepacking thing
