Oof! Does Wasdale include going over the top of Scafell Pike? I remember being at the top mid-hike, shivering whilst attempting to unwrap a Kendal mint cake, and seeing participants in the Borrowdale race appearing out of the mist, thinking to myself, "Never!" Anyway, good luck!
I've had a couple of rest days in an attempt to shrug off a cold. Feels like I'm just about there, so some hope of putting in a good show at the Kent county XC this afternoon at Brands Hatch. The long spikes are in, could be soft going. Any other XC action this weekend?

So I decided entering Ennerdale and Wasdale was a good way to force me to train this year - 23m/7500ft, 21m/9000ft respectively.
Death before DNF.
