I think timetrialling needs to have a change of direction
You're welcome to change your direction, but leave the rest of us alone.
The absolute measure of whether people want to ride particular courses is that they enter events on those courses. It's an almost perfect devolution of power to the lowest possible level, a nearly perfect free market, a beautiful example of individual liberty.

Less about times, and more about beating competitors. In a way what the circuit champs are about.
Personally that has increasingly become my feeling. I really didn't enjoy the R100/8 last year so as Tester says I'll be looking at more interesting (hopefully) local courses if I do much testing next year.

I believe the CTT said they’d be introducing a national ranking system this year after trialling it behind the scenes last season. I haven’t looked into it at all, so not sure if it helps with what you want, but I would assume it would benefit riders who perform consistently across all types of courses?
Anyone else think the V718 course should be ditched?
I think timetrialling needs to have a change of direction. Away from these courses and to less traffic dependant roads. Less about times, and more about beating competitors. In a way what the circuit champs are about.
