Re barkley: still only 24 and at 15 mil he is worth a punt I reckon. He has shown enough to give himself an outside chance of being a decent player with the right coaching.

He has the base talent and athleticism. Decision making is poor. He loses the ball because he tries the wrong thing, not because his touch is shit or he is too slow. He could be another Joe Cole, or he could just need a little bit of one on one coaching from a decent coach like Sterling/Guardiola.

£15m is about 15% of a decent striker for Chelsea/MU/MC.
