don't buy a synthetic one, no point. read why: https://andrewskurka.com/2015/backpacking-clothing-stop-insulated-jacket-pants/
get a down one with a fill power of 650 or more.

What did you go for in the end and are you happy with it?
I'm looking for something similiar but for a 6/12 month trip.
Anyone have experience of the Mountain Warehouse Down sleeping bag? £68 seems like a very good price though like hp93, I'm nervous of the source of the down filling. I have a Summit 250 which has been well used but fancy something that packs smaller and is lighter...
I'm looking to do some short bike packing late April this year (and hopefully more in summer) so I'm looking for a decent sleeping bag, i'd like to keep the weight and size down as I'll be using a handlebar bag, frame bag and probably something like a carradice for the back.
Is sub 1kg, well under £100, 3 season and synthetic unreasonable?
I've looked at the Vango Ultralite Pro 200 which seems like a good buy at around 1kg and £60ish
