Jam & spoon
Masters at work
Royksopp
Goldfrapp
Ian Pooley
S’express
(Interested in 80s/90s chunk) -
• #4
I’d rather not split at this juncture, if I do it’ll be in genre chunks. Will let you know, though someone has expressed interest in the whole shebang.

• #5
You have to do a five hour mix and record it before selling them. That tracklist would make for an epic mix
-
• #6
I can give it a go, one hi-fi turntable and a MiniDisc player might not give the best results though.
-
• #7
That's the kind of thing I love to do. Would be well up for that.
-
• #8
i have done something similar years ago (before kids). https://www.mixcloud.com/davey_cakes/cheese-please/
pretty terrible selection. sorry -
• #9
Ha, nice mix. The mash-up section in the middle is good fun.
Did a mix of my old housemate's hardcore, jungle and D&B before I moved out, way back when.
https://www.mixcloud.com/cstaniland/toms-tunes-volume-2-hardcore-jungle-drum-bass-gabba/I still try to do monthly mixes of all the car boot tunes I get, it just takes so much time.
I'd love to lock myself away in a room for a couple of days and come up with something with all those OP tunes ^^

loving your mixes - keep up the good work.

Would be interested in a job lot of the House/Acid/Electro/Breaky kinda stuff if you do decide to split!
-
• #12
A few interested parties that have then gone quiet, will look to split up and list some detailed bundle deals in the next couple of days.
Noted Poodawg.

I know they won't fit in an obvious genre bundle but I'll take all of these if you want a 'hoover up some odds and sods' buyer...
Jungle Bros
Public Enemy
Some other hiphop from 80s-90s
Todd Terry
The Beloved
Doug Lazy
Housemartins
LFO
Chemical Bros
Fatboy
Freez
Fatback Band
Hall & Oates
Donna Summer
Some of the discoAnd I'm good for some of the post 2000 electroclash stuff, happy to take recommendations but I want stuff like:
!!! (<<<< particularly this/these, never saw any of their vinyl)
Wagon Christ
Revlon
MSTRKRFT
Soulwax
Simian MD
Playgroup
Justice
Ed Banger! stuff
Maybe some Kitsune, Breastfed, City Rockers ..?Can pay by the inch or whatever you want to do, I can see you're not going to ask kerazy money, and I realise it's more hassle for you to split...
Can collect from Streatham Hill, will do it with panniers so I don't take too much. May well have some time after next week (13th onwards) to pop over.
Send me a PM if you want to make a bundle up for me.
Cheers

Noted.

Wouldn't @vinylpimp next to Skinny Erics, or someone similar, give you a decent price for the whole lot?
The 7"s I bought off Mr Saetan were in excellent condition, so I assume these will be too.
And if anyone wants to add some Electroclash CDs to their collection, here you go : https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/314578/#comment14007249

not sure if they're still going but a mate of mine sold his collection to music and video exchange. the one in Soho has (had?) the bonus of free parking outside on a Sunday when the market was shut

• #19
It's an idea. But slightly worrying as I think 200 is a bit of a lot for me.
-
• #20
On hold till mid week pending in-person perusal.
Ta!

Did everything go? @Rod_Saetan

I got them as a job lot and am currently in the slow process of going through them and sorting out which ones I want.
I guess i'll keep about a quarter of them at most so there's a lot i'll be passing on.
I'm aiming to finish sorting them this weekend and will list them early next week.
There will be a list of every record and the various mixes.
They'll be cheap but I'll be wanting to sell them in groups of about 20 records otherwise it will take forever. If someone wants the lot that's also good.
Condition-wise most are good but some will need a clean - it'll be a bit hit and miss.
Collection from Peckham or Chancery Lane. -

Oh cool that sounds good, I can't take the whole lot but I will probably take a few of the more dancey stuff if the price is right! Cheers
-
• #24
If you’d look into posting to denmark I’d be very keen on some ca. 2005 electroclash and rockish stuff.
-
• #25
Sure, postage should be ok. I'll have to sort some proper packaging though.
Since the 1s and 2s have gone it seems like having a thousand records is silly, hence this large chunk of stuff is up for grabs. In an ideal world someone will be happy to pop over and buy the lot, so they are at this point in time available in one hit, if no one is interested I'll break it down into more specific chunks.
The majority (about 300) are singles and half of those are from 2000 - 2006, most of this stuff was bought new and has been looked after, includes some rarities and some white labels. The other half are 80s/90s 'Party bangers'; synth noises; forgotten late disco-house; hip-house and other discarded sub-genres. Then there are about 100 'other' records including some absolute charity shop guff and a selection of those 'various hits you've already forgotten' albums from the 70s/80s. Obviously I think I have impeccable taste so it must all be great, but, you know.
