yep, should work. 10x mtb derailleur wouldn't work btw.

Cheers, have gone for a tiagra. Went for 10spd rather than 8 as it seems hard to find ones that can handle 32t or thereabouts sprockets in 8 speed, especially in silver.

Careful, 4700 is the only exception to that rule, it has the same cable pull as 11 speed road stuff.
