Ah cheers, should have read up thread. Will be a road not a mountain derailleur too which might help.

yep, should work. 10x mtb derailleur wouldn't work btw.

Cheers, have gone for a tiagra. Went for 10spd rather than 8 as it seems hard to find ones that can handle 32t or thereabouts sprockets in 8 speed, especially in silver.
