Actually, coming back to this... no.

The ignore function is there and can be used. But this forum is a safe space for cyclists away from bullshit elsewhere in their professional or private lives.

If someone is gay, black, Chinese, trans, from a working class background... whatever the fuck is the thing that is used against them on a daily basis elsewhere... and that person is a cyclist and wishes to participate on here... then they really shouldn't have to deal with racism, sexism, homophobic comments on here.

As for the perpetual argument that it's different for the football thread... no. Fuck that.

This is a cycling forum and all cyclists are welcome. Ultimately this gets reduced to should we be tolerant of the intolerant... and the answer is no. There is no safe space at all, no sanctuary for all, if there exists a single person who is going to be racist or sexist on here. If someone has to deal with that in their daily lives, then on here they shouldn't have to at all.

That's not funny, it's not clever. It's plain and simple racism. Pistanator IS racist, and yet again in this thread he's being racist.

There is no basis that this can be excused or forgiven when he's been banned and warned so many times.
