  • Advice needed please.

Mrs has an android phone. She paid for some music to calm the baby in the car. Today when she went to play it, phone said she had run out of data on her plan so couldn’t play. If she has purchased it why does it need data? Is purchased music held on a cloud rather than the phone? Is there a way round this? Purchased via google play.

  • Google play will stream by default, but there are various options. Once she's on wifi, if she looks at the specfic album it will have a download icon next to the album name. You can also go into settings and change if it caches music, and only let it stream on WiFi to save data
