I can’t do TORQ in your sleep next year now as it clashes with a holiday unfortunately.. But I did some of the TORQ Brass Monkeys Enduro route today at Frith Hill and that was super fun. Anyone done it before?

Didn't know you'd planned to do it again :-)

I think for now, I'll try and stay in reasonable shape ( after the Christmas break ), just in case there's an event I'd like to do.

Seems like some sort of motivation, without the pressure of an event to worry about.

I had planned to but ah well.
I’m going to try that too; more forests less roads. I’ve really grown to hate road cycling after a year of long commutes.
