First day of Festive 500 my crown came out, second day my boot broke, can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Steady 80km today, downside only saw one other cyclist who wished me Merry Christmas. Not looking forward to the weather forecast

62k yesterday and 125k today as the weather was nice and we fancied getting ahead of schedule. Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Probably not gonna be nice, today was hard, lots of headwind for 70km.

Good stuff. A little deli / bakery affair on the square. You know you've just hit the Cotswolds as it very quickly gets significantly plummier.

Inkberrow will go on my list of outings from the in laws. Wye Valley is Butty Bach isn't it, or am i mistaken? A fave of my yoof.

Today I just ate loads. Then ate some more. There was ginger wine, beer and normal wine and to wash it down with though. 0km.

Yeah, we had about 50 into some hard headwind. Today's forecast looking cold but winds dropping after lunch. Will probably nip out for an easyish 50k then.

Man flu, feel dreadful, currently on 236kms, still in the game. Back to work for 3 days from tomorrow. Hope to be finished on Saturday ish.

Tooth came out again today, 203Km

Mine is still attach after 219km, here's hoping it'll last the next 281km.

Dunno how you’re all doing it. I managed 82km today and it was grim, got soaked and it was 2 degrees

It was a lovely morning, but cut it short before 2pm where the rain was rather icy.

Hopefully a 100km ride tomorrow, doing a mix of a-road to eat up the kilometres.

Not necessary, the snow forecast for tonight and the early morning, but after 10am, it should die down.

Would advised to go out later than usual due to the high wind (40mph here in Farnham).

Did 80km this morning. Takes me up to 230km. Was quite nice out Biggin Hill way.
Lots of nice drives bar the one that tried to drive through me.

You've done well keeping that bartape and saddle white

110k through the quantocks, the Somerset levels, cheddar gorge and onto Bristol. Initially the excitement of smashing through river fords, clambering accross or detouring round flooded lanes was fun and adventurous. Got quite tiresome eventually. I think I might admit defeat and start using the geared bike when I’m back to London as I’m gonna have to carry on carrying my life around with me like a snail. Anyways, half way there in two rides i’m pretty happy with.
