Was until recently the only triple distilled single malt in Scotland. Matured in open air warehouses just north of Glasgow. The tour is highly recommended especially for the tasting experience.
I have a bottle of their 21 at home which I have carefully rationed for a few years. Not had the heartwood but their Three Wood is very tasty.
A little Christmas haul.
The ka va lan is unusual. Tastes of sherry. I need to drink all of it to decide if I like it. The Nikka from the barrel opens up with a drop of water. Divine.
The unpronouncable I have yet to try.
