Sound folks. I'm away for 10 days but in the NY do you wanna pick up from me in the West End? Or somewhere central?

Shame about that fork, but I'm into the Surly dropouts in the rear!

I eagerly await the inevitable Cargo Bikes thread, but for now I guess this goes here.

Thinking of building up one of these as a winter project. The challenge of finding matching tires of good quality in both 26" and 20" has been fun.

Just like on the illustrated bike, Schwalbe gets you there.

Schwalbe is the go-to at our shop, I'm not a fan of how they ride. Was think Tioga Powerblocks maybe.

I get that, but they're generally durable and it is a load carrier.

If you must go matchy-matchy Marathon Supreme should be a good compromise.

Maxxis DTH, Hookworm and Grifter come in both 26" and 20".
I have been rinding a set of DTH's on my mtb commuter and really rate them.Wonder if they would clear a Bullit or Douze frame...

That chainset looks uncomfortable.
-
• #17543
Yeah it's a bit of a pig, an older 5 bolt one would have suited it much better but unfortunately I had no say in that!
-
• #17544
Please fix the mudguard, looks like someone rear-ended you.
-
• #17545
Hmm looks perfectly functional to me. Mine looks like that, happened when I boxed it for a tour abroad.
-
• #17546
No doubt it's functional, just looks weird and is easy to fix.

• #17547
Perhaps, but there's a nicer way to say it. I guess I got tired of not seeing any positive remarks about any of the last 4 or 5 bikes posted. Only two cynical remarks about a chainset and mudguards. Just going to put people off posting.
So for the record @CarlosVelocity your Miyata Terraliner is banging.

I said please!?
I got tired of not seeing any positive remarks
Could it be that people just don't like the bikes enough to give pos. remarks?

Re. Varonha red bike.
Nice to see some of Winston's work here!

Mudguard looks like it's trying to escape.
Is that better hun?
Woo I was just about to order 2 x 10mm in Black, if you have them.
Or 4x 5mm ?
