Don't leave the Technics fold mate. I'd take it off you for the right money but I don't want to do it to you. The cogging on the SL1200 is tiny and belt drive has a whole host of other problems to contend with. Buy some really top end vinyl and play it with an AT95e through some decent speakers and it can blow your mind. Spend the rest of the money on an RCM, no point in keeping on playing dirty records on ever more expensive turntables.
