  • My wife has become a bourbon fan, recently we have purchased, and drank, a bottle of Woodford Reserve (as Old Fashioned mainly)
Are there any others worth trying at the £25-30 mark?
Bulleit seems to be the common choice in bars and restaurants, but they also seem to think that Tanqueray is the pinnacle of Gin and Havana Club Especial is something to revere, neither of which are that good, which puts me off Bulleit.

  • There are currently a few tasty bourbons dancing around that price bracket across the supermarket offers.

    Markers Mark is tasty.
Buffalo Trace makes a lovely old fashioned.
I don't rate Bulleit or 4 roses but other's here do.

In terms of Rye, Rittenhouse Rye is excellent if you can find it.
