Look at that seat cluster! I grabbed this frame off of ebay, it was the cheapest Njs I'd ever seen and living in Japan I figured I'd better take advantage of cheap shipping too. The paint is in uhhh cheap njs shape and there's a dent in the tt so I'm taking it to beater build city.

I put on the front wheel from the Pacer to see how a 28mm tire would fit up front. I reckon with a beer can shim on the axle I'd have enough clearance but it's kinda moot since I already ordered some 25mm conti ultra sport ii's. I have a matching silver wheel for the front but it's all out of true and dished way to the left 😤.

@HHC I know it's so clean. I was a little bummed not having the flat lugged crown but the fillet brazed one grew on me rly quick.

I'm just waiting on the stem to come in the mail, I'm pissed I don't have anything to temp install. All I can do is look and fantasize.

Stem is here! Couldn't get my nitto pursuits to slide into it so they'll sit in the parts bin for a few more years. I'm leaning toward the sparrows for the comfort and the ability to still go fast, but the itm drops look good and give me that pro stretch 💧. What do?

i love a good set of drops but these just look gash imo... track drops usually have a nicer shape, maybe a set of those?

I see your point, if I had some track bars theyd be on instead of the old school road drops. Have to keep an eye out 🕵🏻As it stands tho the ugly shape makes them comfy on the tops. Probably I'll just stick to sparrows.

Tioga stem fitted, looks good I reckon and shouldn't pinch me in half in the drops. The top tube got in a fight with an icecicle outside of work 😤 But the pic makes it look worse than it is and it's a rat anyway so one more scar is no big deal.
