The sort of people that aren't brand snobs and vanity driven on looks.
Grand seiko have the finest movements on the market short of some one like r.w.smith.
Thankfully most people in the market for top end watches in the core markets are brand driven and won t buy a seiko at that price, and thus they will stay ultra rare, And for a watch connoisseur they will probably end up as a good investment.

Sorry but a massive over generalization. I deal with a lot of collectors who certainly don't buy on "Vanity" , but in some cases pay an extraordinary amount of money for something old and almost battered . None of my or any of my counterparts in any of our other showrooms have anybody who collect Seiko .
People don't buy Omega just because it's an Omega, they buy it for what the brand heritage represents. There's a lot of love on here for moonwatch and thats a great deal less flashy than any of the Grand seiko I have seen of late.
As for investment potential, Fucking hell don't make me laugh.
I'm with Senor_Bear on this .
What kind of a spunk muppet pays £3,199 for a Seiko?
Especially when it looks like a £99 jobbie.
