Saw a technique for that recently.
Get a wire coat hanger and fully unfurl it. Wind it around a clump of wire wool at one end, then put the other end in a drill. Put the clump of wire wool end in the tube, spin the drill and it'll de-rust your tube.
Classic method, works very well. Add a bit of oil or WD-40 or something to make it less dusty.
