not sure if its still there as I cant see it on Google maps, but id put my hat on you being able to get jewellery boxes on Hatton gardens.

Lynco in Farringdon Road are my go to place for this sort of stuff. Good, because you can actually look at their stock - rather than it be hid behind a counter.
And, as you say, no shortage of other findings establishments in the HG area.
