is it solid in general? I have a bike with no mid fork eyelet that I am thinking about putting M18, whats the weight limit?

It's very solid. More so than I imagined to be honest. I rigged up the janky decaleur system myself. It's not the cleanest, but it works surprisingly well. I can't speak to an actual weight limit in number, but I've gone on a few overnighters with the bag (also custom) overfilled with no issues. The bag is equivalent to a Swift Industries medium. So the rack will hold about as much as you can fit in one those, if not more.

Works really well. Had the chance to add disc tabs to the back but decided against it. Acts as a bit of fail safe too.
Avid arch rivals with compressionless cables and cool stops. Good modulation and power.

disc front and v rear.

They weren't uncommon back in the late 90's/early 00's, so it work well as the rear disc is always a touch too powerful, having v brakes mean you can actually get away with modulating both equally.

Quite like this paint, wasn't a fan of the black/silver 1st gen space-horse disc. My OG blue with the white ends one is still my favourite though. Also it looks like they only do a disc space-horse now, with canti studs relegated to the more budget pony express.
