Regular MTB/CX rides in Epping Forest

How big would the loop be from Peckham?

it's about 2hrs peckham to epping, mostly offroad.
then 3hrs or so very casual riding there
then another 2hrs back, same deal

last reminder - EPPING this sunday: 9am peckham -> 11:30 till 3 epping -> 5pm return peckham

Unfortunately already made plans for Sunday. Glad i got out there last week in the snow even if I was constantly bricking it about losing the front end!

First time I didn't feel massively overbiked, just wish I'd taken a helmet!

Nope, still overbiked. Cross bike, mud tyres and about a dozen offs per mile.

Don't think I've got the time. Work slammage. You know it's bad when I won't go out to MTB.

Train to Chingford. I'll be there around 11 till 11:30. If you're coming will wait for you then into forest!

I don't know, isn't there some sort of Euston - Epping train service? May have made that up but I'm sure I've done that before...

Right I've found three(!) tubes and my spds so in for the 10:33 from Liverpool Street to Chingford (10:59). Can meet at either station.

Have fun! Sadly I dont have time to strip the touring bike for off road duties again as I'm off to Devon next week. I'll be organising an off road to brighton ride in the new year if anyone's interested
