The riding position with the hands way behind the steerer doesn't make it look fun to ride. I bet it makes for shit handling in combination with the steep angles

I can't argue with that :)
FWIW, I enjoyed the swept bars on my omafiets with a slack headtube. When I tried swept handlebars on my tarck bike I didn't like the handling.

Ohh I had similar bars on my track bike once, super fun! Only the bars kept flexing too much while skidding. Think they were Humpert alu ones, steel should be better
