It's an aesthetic and functional fail imo. The riding position with the hands way behind the steerer doesn't make it look fun to ride. I bet it makes for shit handling in combination with the steep angles.
p.s. maybe I wouldn't be that harsh if it wasn't such a lovely frame.

FWIW, I enjoyed the swept bars on my omafiets with a slack headtube. When I tried swept handlebars on my tarck bike I didn't like the handling.
