is it solid in general? I have a bike with no mid fork eyelet that I am thinking about putting M18, whats the weight limit?

It's very solid. More so than I imagined to be honest. I rigged up the janky decaleur system myself. It's not the cleanest, but it works surprisingly well. I can't speak to an actual weight limit in number, but I've gone on a few overnighters with the bag (also custom) overfilled with no issues. The bag is equivalent to a Swift Industries medium. So the rack will hold about as much as you can fit in one those, if not more.

Sure is! I thought about doing a Cross Check fork and using the canti bosses for the rack but decided I preferred the crown and rake of the Steamroller fork. Even with the p-clamps.
