  • No, not really. I think I got in pretty early on ordering them and initially expected them to realise pretty quick and change the price, but it became evident that they had no one keeping an eye on their online stuff all weekend and the longer they stayed at 4 euros the less I expected them to actually honour the price.

Their emails suggested 3000 orders, presumably of at least 2 tyres each (and likely more), so now I feel bad.

  • I'm not having a go at you personally, but it's an interesting moral stance.

"I was happy to take advantage of a company's mistake that put them €36 out of pocket, but when lots of other people did the same, that was not ok."

Most people would probably think the same, though, so...

  • I'm not suggesting that I can do it but others can't. My point was that if (for instance) 20 people do it before the shop realises their mistake, they should accept they fucked up and send the goods. Like dancing james' mispriced groupset or whatever that he got for a massive discount, or the 1p per metre cable from PBK.

However, if 3000 people place orders before the seller realises, I appreciate that they can't fulfil all those orders and realistically, 3000 x 10 euros to apologise for being incompetent is a lot of money.
