Cheers man. Only commuted on it so far and most off-road I’ve managed is the jogging trail in viccy Park and riding the odd bit of dirt next to the canal path but absolutely loving it.

Main thing at the moment is that it doesn’t really feel “softer” than my Equilibrium. That had 25mm tyres on wide non carbon rims and carbon seatpost, and obviously was steel and carbon forks rather than alu frame like the Arkose but I expected it to be much softer with 35mm tyres. My Equilibrium was really comfy, the Arkose is comfier having much less saddle to bar drop, but not softer. I think I’ll have to go up to 40+ tyres with lower psi to get that real softness I was expecting.

Maybe you're just running too high pressure? My Arkose was a much harsher ride than my Grade at road-ish pressures, but it was really comfy with CX tires at low pressure

Could be, I’ve adjusted the bars, levers, saddle height, and saddle angle since picking it up but I haven’t touched the tyres. I’ll give that a go as well as looking into better tyres.

If you buy me some new tires I'll let you have my 40c G ones.

What 12mm bolt thru Carbon fork with flat disc mounts is available for my sequoia? Not too spendy either..... It seems that they don't sell the original carbon fork, available on the higher end models, separately..

Hi! I'm have been searching for a frame for a couple of months now.
I wanna use it for gravel and rando and some light touring.
Disc brakes and mudguards is a must. If the frame works with 700 and 650b thats a plus.
First thought was the Dolan Rdx but my size was out of stock and then i found the Fuji Jari that looked perfect but can't find the frameset i online.

Does some have any other idea's on frame sets.
Im thinking alu frame and carbon fork around 500£

@chain , any mountain bike frame should do what you are looking for.... I've got an old titanium frame that I was going to do this to.

You’re describing a pinnacle arkose. No point in going 650b anyway when you can fit +42mm tyres 700c

Superficially, differences to consider are that the Sonder can take a front rack whilst some of the Arkoses can't, and some of the Arkoses have internal cabling. Can't speak to ride quality or whatever between the two.

No mention of being front rack compatible. Those mid fork bosses are for guards only no? Arkose has the same. Also nothing wrong with internal cabling, it’s not steel so corrosion much less of a problem and it’s not a cross or mountain bike that’ll be covered in mud

I'm looking for a new frame and am leaning towards the Camino Al over Arkose purely on the basis of the carbon fork with front rack bosses. Seems good value.
